A Few More USA Championship points!

We are more than pleased with how our Shelamo Kenna is doing with Vicki Weis, and her capable handler/friend Karen Munster.  This is one of her recent wins, going Winners Female and Best Of Opposite.

 

This is a candid picture of Karen's husband Ed who had to step in to handle Brindy in the Best of Breed ring.  She just seems to be able to work with anyone!

So reminiscent of the temperament her great uncle BPIS Am/Cdn Ch Shelamo's Prospector had.

At the same show Vicki's boy Walker, sire to our 2 biblack girls took the Breed.

Nice Kingston Dog Show Weekend

Marylou and I attended the Kingston dog show this past weekend and had a great time.  Couldn't ask for better weather, even tho it threatened to rain on our parade Sunday afternoon.  Nope, it rained there a bit before, but then cloudy and the sun came out at the end.

It was nice to see a large entry of 19 shelties.  Numbers have been so low in our area for, at least, the last year.  We had as many females in competition as we have had in the whole breed.

Our girls did great!  Shelamo Bedazzle our 16 wk old puppy had fun competing Saturday & Sunday for Best Baby Puppy In Show.

Shelamo Rais'n The Bar came away with a 3 pt Winners Female on Saturday under judge Wendy Paquette.

"Brindy" did well too for her first time out, going Reserve Winners Female on Friday with Marylou at the end of the lead, under Colombia judge Mrs. Perez.

Cathy Graham of Onawhim, showed her girl Minx in the Best Baby Competition and won BBPIB on the Friday.

BPIM BPIB Shelamo Rais'n The Bar

At the Kingston Dog Show, mid June, on the Saturday, our young girl took her first points towards her Championship, by going Best of Winners, Best of Breed and Best Puppy In Breed.

We were proud of her at the OKC Sanction Match earlier in the year when she went Best Puppy In Match, and hope she can continue her winning ways.
