Yah, my son turned 17 in July, has his full license now, etc. Although they try to be careful drivers at this age, several of his friends/acquaintances have already been in minor fender-benders. I think it is lack of experience and poor judgement in various road situations. No wonder the insur. rates are higher for this age group. Tell your nephew to exercise patience when driving, and stay off the roads in extreme weather.
BTW everyone he did pass! and one isn't required anymore to do that dreaded parallel parking thing ... oh how it ages me :)
Where I live in the city of TO, we have to parallel park all the time on the city streets, so glad I know how, especially when you go shopping down to the Danforth, its all parallel parking there too. Glad your nephew passed:)
