STILL MISSING!!! LOST SHELTIE - FLICKA - LOW, QUEBEC

STILL MISSING!

SEARCHES CONTINUE ON AN ONGOING BASIS. THE COLD, WIND AND SNOWY CONDITIONS HAVE HAMPERED A LOT AND GIVEN THE TERRAIN OF FARMS/FIELDS/BUSH IT IS EVEN HARDER.

PLS CONTINUE TO SHARE! SPREADING THE WORD.

On Jan 19 2014 one of our sheltie owners lost her life in a car accident near Low, Quebec on Hwy 105.

Flicka fled the scene, police did some searching but couldn't find her. There have been some flyers & searching by family members to this point.

Here are some recent pics I've received from a family member. We need some sightings to try and capture her! She may hunker down with it being SO cold right now; watch for tracks in the snow, and even brown fur on low bushes .... all signs can help follow her.

here is a picture of her being shown to her Canadian Championship.

PLEASE PASS this blog post onto any and all of your friends. You just don't know who knows who!!!

If you're on Facebook, she's on my page, and also Ottawa and Valley Lost Pet's Network.

I have done a word & pdf file poster if you are willing to put any up I can send you the file

email me @ shelamo@sympatico.ca

WALKING, TALKING, SPREADING THE INFO TO EVERYONE CAN HELP BRING THIS GIRL HOME TO HER EXTENDED FAMILY IN THEIR TIME OF NEED.

Point Change by 1 - back to the classes - Now a New Champion!

Once you thought you knew it all, you learn something new. This year as been the strangest for point errors, omissions, events out of every one's control ... that has made for several people I know going back to figure out their points, or continue on in the classes to gain the 10 points needed for a Canadian Championship.

It happened to us with our girl Shelamo Rais'n The Bar this past summer. So, at the Cornwall Dog Show this past weekend, back to the classes we went. On Friday we finished her with a Winners Female/Best of Opposite Sex. YAH WHOOOO! I will say this is pending CKC confirmation.

finishing under judge P. Pancel, over a special

the following day, under respected breeder judge Joann Pavey,

Nice Kingston Dog Show Weekend

Marylou and I attended the Kingston dog show this past weekend and had a great time. Couldn't ask for better weather, even tho it threatened to rain on our parade Sunday afternoon. Nope, it rained there a bit before, but then cloudy and the sun came out at the end.

It was nice to see a large entry of 19 shelties. Numbers have been so low in our area for, at least, the last year. We had as many females in competition as we have had in the whole breed.

Our girls did great! Shelamo Bedazzle our 16 wk old puppy had fun competing Saturday & Sunday for Best Baby Puppy In Show.

Shelamo Rais'n The Bar came away with a 3 pt Winners Female on Saturday under judge Wendy Paquette.

"Brindy" did well too for her first time out, going Reserve Winners Female on Friday with Marylou at the end of the lead, under Colombia judge Mrs. Perez.

Had fun at the Ottawa Kennel Club Sanction Match this past weekend. With the help of quite a few of my sheltie friends pitching in and doing extra show training, Shelamo Rais'n The Bar, Shelamo Watermark and a BPIS Ch Shelamo's Riding The Sky son, "Sam" owned by L. Howie was Winners Male & Best of Opposite!

Our two are sired by Am/Cdn Ch Reinmar's Firecracker ROMC out of our Shelamo Seriously Sinful.
