Happy Birthday "Rocky" & "Amber"!!!

A BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY "ROCKY and "AMBER"

born January 31, 2000

On this date, 13 years ago Shelamo's Party Pack ROMC brought 6 pups into the world.  Of those, 3 would be Canadian Conformation Champions, one a Best Puppy In Show winner, one an American Champion, and champions in more than one way.

"Rocky" from a pup was always my best bud.  He'd sit as a pup on the back of my legs as I knelt preparing a fire during the cold nights; giving me attention and eye contact at an early age, allowed me to show train him at about 4 months of age at our busy airport as we waited for Mike to arrive (everyone had to stop and say hi to him); was a joy to show as a pup garnering our first Best Puppy In Show with a Best of Breed and Group 4th, the day of tough competition at the OKC November show; becoming one of Purina's Champions in their competition across Canada in 2001; traveled to Florida for a good 6 months, and became a bud with Dr. Sherry Lee while she showed him in the tough show circuits on the eastern seaboard, quickly obtaining his American Championship, and has made anyone showing him smile with easy going temperament.

He has been our main Ambassador here at Shelamo.

Ch Shelamo's Sure Fire CD, RNThe other sister Ch "Copper" went on to make a couple in Oshawa their love of their life.
