Rain, or Shine Puppies Need Socialzing

Our local Carp Market is now open Saturdays with everything from handmade jewelry, to veggies, plants, herbs, honey, pies, bread, and even a dog biscuit vendor ..... can't wait for the Hudson corn! Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash not more than 6' long. People are very respectful of, and even a dog watering bowl is provided.

Well, rain or shine and it was rain ... Marylou, Mary-Anne and myself headed over there mid morning and I brought Kodak out, our 13 wk old boy from our Rush x Sibelle litter. He did really well, handling all the kids that wanted to pet him, with the most fun part .. stopping to drink from all the little puddles.
Time to sit and relax for a bit ... the rain had let up.
I bought him a pumpkin ring, he wasn't quite sure about the taste of it at the beginning.
Loads of things to watch and take in while ML & MA went back to pick up items they wanted.

Adorable pictures. A wet puppy sheltie looks way better than a wet adult sheltie!!! Puppies just look fuzzier.

The Carp market looks like fun -- even on a rainy day.

I live in a great neighbourhood where alot of the stores allow dogs --and the restaurants leave out water bowls. Even the bank lets you take your dog inside and every teller has a container of dog biscuits so he/she can hand out treats.

Ok, so tell me what bank it is? The canine friend establishments are ones we need to give more business to.

TD Canada Trust in Westboro :-) It's right across the street from Bark & Fitz, which obviously draws a lot of dogs. Oh -- and the bank has a fine water bowl...raised off the ground even for the convenience of taller (or older) dogs. I don't know any other branch that allows dogs though.

Yes, I can see how the TD with B&F across the street draws in clients with dogs. Going to have to encourage my TD in Kanata to do the same - there is a Petsmart in that mall.
